Jason's award

Last Tues, Jason got awarded the Navy and Marine Corp Medal, one of the highest non-combatant medals you can recieve as a Marine. This video isn't much to look at, but if you listen

you'll hear what he's recieving the medal for.

It was a big day for him. He was presented the award during one of the students graduations and the four of us were the regiment commander's, Lnt.Colonel Carol, guest of honor. A minute after the ceremony started he leaned over and whispered to me, "Soak this up, we'll never be seating next to someone this important ever again."

These are the big shots the "legendary" Sgt. Major Vines, ssgnt Martin and Ssgnt Kuehnl, and Lnt. Colonel Carrol. (I hope I got that right? )

I'm so proud of him and its a big award, but I hope he never gets pressented with another situation to earn a second one.

That is wonderful! We love all of our service men and are proud of them. Congratulate him for us and tell him thank you.
